Weigh in Wednesday – week 2, NOT a great week…

Hi guys! So I am committing to this, I am going to update you with my week and weightloss every. single. week. EVEN if it has been a repeat of this week. This is my second week of posting, if you want to read last weeks then you can here!

should have known that as soon as I started telling people and publishing my weightloss online that I would have an absolute sh*tter of a week,  a week that would make me not want to diet and just want to cry and eat cake. I knew that that would happen at some point during this process. I just didn’t think it would be my second week.

Weight 23.10.17 – 97.7kg

Weight 29.10.17 – 97.5kg

Loss – 0.2kg (0.44lbs)

Total loss – 1.2kg (2.64lbs)

still better than a gain, I guess!

But Tizz, how was your week sooooo bad?

It all started on Monday. I’d had a bad-dish day anyway, but for some reason I wasn’t feeling tooooo negative about it. That was until we decided to go shopping. By Monday there is no food in the house, so I am usually sorta grouchy due to the fact that I always forget that I need to eat lunch on a Monday.

We wrote our list, packed our bags and got into our car. Went to turn the engine on and………….. nothing. Thought may just be the cold weather so gave it another go. NOTHING. tick tick tick tick tick. POO. Battery was definitely dead.

Now, this may not seem like a huge dilemma. Fine, get your car sorted and go shopping tomorrow. Go back home, get into bed and wallow in self pity. BUT, at that moment in time everything felt a bit too much (I was also pretty due for my good ol’ monthly friend, which probably didn’t help). BB and I sat on our stairs for nearly 45 minutes procrastinating in what to do, before deciding we’d just walk to our closest superstore, grab a few bits and hope we could go shopping by Wednesday.

It’s not a long walk, but also not short. About half an hour, but half an hour when you’re in a bad mood feels like an age. We picked up a few bits to make Tuesdays lunch and dinner and also some necessities we needed. We had been good for dinner, we had just had spaghetti and meatballs, but I wanted some food to make me feel better ASAP. And we had none in the house.

So we picked up a tub of Ben and Jerrys each, walked home, got into bed and ate ice-cream while watching Parks and Rec to cheer ourselves up.

I had already weighed heavy on Monday morning due to deciding scones were a good idea last week, so by Tuesday I was feeling like absolute crap (I think I had gone back up to over 98kg). I decided to stick with it though.

When I get my monthlies, OMG my weight fluctuates like a MF. Sometimes I gain up to half a stone during my period and then other mornings I’m ridiculously light in weight. SO, that didn’t help. Along with me being a complete baby and drama queen, everybody had to listen to my life story this week… My poor friends, family and colleagues lol.

We also had a family get together planned for Saturday, my cousin got quite poorly over Friday night so that was cancelled. This meant our whole weekend was thrown out of wack, as my nan had my cousins and everybody was a bit worried. Thank god, he is OK now (touch wood) but it was a bit of a worrying time. This also meant that family plans were cancelled, but my nan had already made cakes and sandwiches and bought picnic food. So I ate some of it anyway. LOL. To be fair, I definitely didn’t eat as much as I usually would have done…

The rest of the week BB and I were pretty good. We had good meals, maybe a small treat for pudding, and I think had I not binged on Monday I would probably be a lot lighter. So that is promising for the next week coming.

The most annoying thing is that the exercise bike was picked up from my mums on Tuesday and has been sat there, TAKING UP ROOM (!!!) yet unridden, since. I will definitely get onto it ASAP.

Now, onto the lighter things that happened this week…

This week wasn’t all bad. Especially due to the steam halloween sale! I’m meant to be on a shopping ban, but I decided I could buy maybe just one little game…

Looking on my wishlist, but nothing was jumping out at me so I started to browse through the store instead. And that’s when it jumped out at me… sims 3 up to 80% off. I own all of the sims 1, 2 and 4 (so far) games, but I sold my sims 3 games a while ago as I never completed the collection and it was annoying me. I thought maybe I’d just buy a couple but before I knew it……..

The next morning I realised I hadn’t purchased supernatural or showtime so after much deliberation I decided to go for Supernatural. Only to find this in my inbox a few hours later (I must admit, there was a lot of very unsubtle hints that I did want both of them). Love ma BB.

FYI, in case you were wondering, I got all of these for under £40.00!!!!!!!!! I will probably grab into the future and island paradise if I’m still playing it in a couple of months (but sims 4 cats & dogs is coming out so that is questionable……)

There was also a sale on Beauty Bay which meant that BB could buy some of the items for my birthday for £10 cheaper, which is always good. And I am super duper excited to get my hands on a Morphe palette soon.

But Tizz, did you actually achieve any of the goals you set yourself last week???

Lol. No, I don’t think I did. Let’s have a looksie, shall we?

  1. Get off my fat arse and do a workout/cycle 3 – 5 times – I don’t think I even did one, I’ll carry this forward to next week heh.
  2. At least 10,000 steps a day (meant to do this week but it rained so bad I just couldn’t bring myself to run further than Tescos……….. for cake (jokkkkeeeee)) – Nope. Think I averaged just over 6000 a day but again I will carry this forward to next week.
  3. NO BREAD/PASTA/RICE FOR LUNCH (note to self, wraps still have carbs in them OK) – I just can’t do this lol. I need my bread for lunch or I can’t work in the afternoon (that is what I will tell myself) so I am just going to try and cut down on how much bread I have.
  4. Another 2 pounds would be nice but after the scone fiasco today I think just 1 will be an easier task to achieve. – turns out, half a pound is even easier to achieve lol.
  5. When the family are down on Saturday do not gorge self (already lol’ing at this, sorry) – OOH, I did this! GUYS LOOK, I actually achieved something hahahaha.

Goals for next week?

  1. Get off my fat arse and do a workout/cycle 3 – 5 times
  2. At least 10,000 steps a day – I have no excuse this week, I was just lazy last week.
  3. Lose 2 pounds, PLEASE.
  4. When the family are down on Saturday do not gorge self – the event has been postponed to this Saturday.
  5. Don’t buy a streets worth of Halloween food and then just eat it all myself.

Thank you for reading, I hope I haven’t made you all think I’m a complete drama llama (which BTW, I deffo am). We are off to BB’s parents for tea tonight, and they usually do an amazing roastie spread, but I am back onnnnn it.

  4. You did have quite a week it’s a lot of pressure having to share that journey with the world what you eat and what u do. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
