Blogtober Day 9 – Not a Baking Powder Freedom HD Pro Finish Powder

Heeeellooooo.

(I’m trying to change up my greetings but It’s not really working, sorry)

How bored are you of my cover image thus far?

The item I’m reviewing today is Freedoms HD Pro Finish Powder. You can grab it here for £5 (affiliated but not sponsored).

I initially picked this up because I had run out of the Coty Airspun powder which is my complete go to for baking under my eyes, but after a few not-so-great attempts of baking with both the ELF finish powder and with a GOSH finish powder I decided to just go and grab myself another Coty off Amazon so I thought I’d just try it out for actually finishing my face off (yes, IK IK I should have been using all 3 products for this).

I also always swear by the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, so trying out something else with such high expectations was not going to be an easy feat.

The actual product is sooo weird. It has this funny netting bit that I kind of pat on until some product flies up onto the pot. I’m sure I’m doing it wrong but I didn’t know what else to do.

This product is actually really lovely on the face, it is definitely translucent and does not feel heavy on your skin but leaves it looking more matte and not at all shiny.

I didn’t have to top this up throughout the day and didn’t get too oily which is also quite an achievement for me.

I think I will purchase this product again when I run out. Watch this space.

Thanks for reading,
